IBM PC/XT
Club
Here at Uncreative
Labs we don't want to let the legend of the IBM PC/XT die. So we have decided to
let people of the computing community know who the proud owners of XTs are by
posting their machines on this webpage. To become an official member of IBM
PC/XT Club, simply send your XTs specifications to the following address: mailto:%20cholowat@primary.net. We
will do our best to have your application processed within a couple of days.
Please note that this is the ORIGINAL IBM PC/XT Club and is not to be confused
with any other imitations. This page has been operational since February 1998.
If you by chance happen to have one from earlier, we appologise for
overestimating our creativity.
Here are a few tips for your
application
-Include the country in which your XT is located
in
-Limit of 2 entries per member
-The only 286 that qualifies as an XT is
the IBM 5162
-Include a picture if possible.
UPDATE 06/01/99: WE
HAVE BEEN HAVING SERVER PROBLEMS LATELY, SEVERAL ENTRIES HAVE BEEN MISPLACED. IF
YOUR SYSTEM IS NOT ON THE LIST, PLEASE SEND YOUR ENTRY AGAIN. SORRY FOR THE
INCONVIENINCE.
UPDATE 08/04/98: DUE TO POPULAR DEMAND, I WILL BE POSTING
PEOPLE'S IBM 5150s AS WELL, BUT THEY WILL NOT BE POSTED WITH THE XTs. FOR THOSE
OF YOU WHO FOR SOME ODD REASON ARE LED TO BELEIVE THAT THE IBM 5150 IS AN XT,
PLEASE CLICK HERE.
